Your Joy Is Coming!

When I look at this picture I think of how God’s word says, “weeping may endure for a night but joy comes in the morning.”

There have been so many trials to overcome in my life, but I can honestly say after each one I found a way to discover purpose in it. After my weeping, I found joy.

This joy feels like a peace washing over you as though you have come to understand why something did or did not occur in your life. So many of us can relate to asking, “why did this happen to me God?”

Today, I want you to know that joy is coming. Joy isn’t necessarily just smiles and laughter, joy is a deeply spiritual place where your mind is at rest; where you have a gladness on the inside that you almost can’t explain. Joy is knowing God’s love for you is so strong that He has good plans for you - no matter what has happened in your life.

Here is the entire first part of Psalm 30 which I pray will spark joy in your heart as you come to understand the “why” or “purpose in” what you’ve been going through. ❤️Love you friends!

‭‭Psalms‬ ‭30:1-5‬ ‭CEB‬

“I exalt you, LORD, because you pulled me up; you didn’t let my enemies celebrate over me. LORD, my God, I cried out to you for help, and you healed me.

LORD, you brought me up from the grave, brought me back to life from among those going down to the pit. You who are faithful to the LORD, sing praises to him; give thanks to his holy name!

His anger lasts for only a second, but his favor lasts a lifetime. Weeping may stay all night, but by morning, joy!”‬
